Below is a link to the document shared at BDAC Exec’ Meeting January 2025 that has helped inform the change in position on the structure of BDAC.

The position of the Executive is that it supports the formation of a cooperative in which every tenant is given equal opportunity to influence the outcome of any decisions affecting plotholders. This should take the form of personal voting opportunities and direct representation rather than through an affiliated association.

In accordance with this all Birmingham tenants will be given the opportunity to become share holders in a new organisation.

In the next few months the Executive will be working on how this can be implemented and moved forward.
